Mujadara

Mujadara Recipe
Yields1 Serving
 1 cup brown lentils
 1 cup Calrose rice
 3 onions 
 1 tsp salt
 olive oil
1

cut 2 onions into thin slices and fry until golden then takeout and place on a paper towel covered plate

½ boil the brown lentils in a pot on medium fire for around 15 minutes

soak the rice for 30 minutes in hot water and then add it to the pot along with the brown lentils

4

fry the vermicelli using olive oil until golden and add to the pot 

5

add the fried onions to the pot and mix all the ingredients together

6

add a tspn of salt cumin and black pepper on top and mix again

7

leave the mixture for half an hour on medium heat until the rice is cooked and ready  

8

when rice is cooked all the way through plate for serving. sprinkle the onions of top 

Don’t forget to eat it with our farmers salad!
